If you don’t like the weather here in Indiana, then wait 5 minutes and it will change. I guess this is what I love about our state. However I went fishing a few days ago and I have been laid up in the house ever since. I have been sicker this time than any recent illnesses I have had. Today is the first day that I have felt good enough to actually get out of bed and eat. Maybe by March we can get out again and go fishing and not get sick, but who knows, I guess that is a chance we all take.

I went to Cataract 2-17-09. I took my boat and was going to launch at Cunot Boat Ramp. Boy was I wrong, the water was up to the entrance road, it looked like it did back in June of 2008. I then went to the Park and we had to move High Water barricades to launch the boat. We finally got on the water, but the water level was very HIGH, and super Muddy. I tried everything in my arsenal to catch a fish, with exception of live bait. I only had 1 bite all day. Did not catch anything! Oh well, it was still better than going to work. Just thought I would tell you all before you venture out to go fishing.

Hello everyone. If you are like me I am experiencing Spring Fever. The latest warm spell we have had has gave me a false sense of hope that spring will be here anytime. I can’t wait to tie that first hook, or lure on and wet my line in hopes of catching that first fish of 2009, not through the ice. Hopefully in late February or early March you will find me at Monroe or Cataract trying to catch some early Walleye. With that in mind keep visiting our site and watch for new pics, videos, and posts.

We had a bad day. Our original blog was lost and all of our signed up member info was also lost. So if you all would please re-join or register we would appreciate it. We are very sorry for this and will not let it happen again.
