As of 6-28-09, Lake Monroe was at normal Summer pool. The water temp was in the mid to high 80’s. As always on a weekend the lake was packed with boaters and fishermen alike. But as far as I could see all the ramps were open and easily launched from.

As of 6-28-09, Cataract Lake was still up several feet. However the water level has dropped a bunch. Cunot boat ramp is still under water but you can now see the upper parking lot at Cunot. The park ramp is under water also but you can actually drive down to the bottom of the hill now and launch your boat. It wont be long and the lake will be back to normal pool. (I Hope).
